It is managed by Southeastern and is served by both Southeastern and Thameslink 🚉 Opened on 2 November 1908 as Stone Crossing Halt. 🚧 The station originally had a level crossing at the east end. This was permanently closed in 2018 and replaced by the modern footbridge with ramps. 🌉 The footbridge is one of the best places to film trains passing through the station. 🚆 Off-peak there are typically 4 trains per hour towards London (using different routes) and 4 trains per hour towards Gravesend/Gillingham. 📊 In 2024/25 the station recorded around 319,000 entries and exits, making it a relatively quiet station by national standards, though busier than nearby Swanscombe. 🛍️ It is close to the Crossways business park and is only a short distance from Bluewater Shopping Centre.
