A VERY wet weekend in Devon - part 1

Join me on Part 1 of a VERY wet weekend in Devon as I take the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 down from Salisbury towards Teignmouth on Friday 29th August. Along the way I meet up with Paul on his trusty BMW R1200GSA, before we head to Phil’s place in Teignmouth where we’re staying for the night. With Hurricane Erin making its way across from the USA, we know the weather could be against us! On Saturday morning, the three of us (Interceptor, BMW GS and Indian Scout) set off along the beautiful Devon coastline to Dartmouth, cross the River Dart by ferry, and arrive just in time for the Dartmouth Royal Regatta. We even meet up with Dave (BMW GS) and Neil (Kawasaki Vulcan 650) while we’re there. But the weather soon turns… 🌧️ From Dartmouth to Slapton Ley, the heavens open and we get absolutely soaked. A much-needed stop at the pub gives us a chance to dry off and refuel before the ride continues. 👉 Stay tuned for Part 2, where the adventure continues with the ride back to Teignmouth and then the journey home!
