David Provoked | 2 Samuel 24:1-9 1 The LORD was again angry with Israel and provoked David to go and take a census of Israel and Judah. 2 Then the king said to Joab, the commander of the army who was with him, “Go through all the tribes of Israel and take a census from Dan to Beersheba, and report the number of the people to me.” 3 Joab said to the king, “May the LORD your God increase this people a hundredfold so that my lord the king may see it with his own eyes.
