I Removed My Sprinter's Factory Floor and Found Rust | Web Builder Builds a Van Ep. 4

I pulled up the factory rubber coin flooring and wooden floorboard in my 2005 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter T1N to finally see what had been hiding underneath. At first, the exposed metal floor looked terrible. It was covered in years of dirt, old material, adhesive residue and rust—but once I started cleaning everything back, I could finally see what I was actually dealing with. In this episode, I remove the original floor, cut away the remaining seat mounting bolts, clean and inspect the factory metal floor, treat the rusted areas, use the angle grinder and wire brush to prepare the damaged sections, apply primer and finally repaint the entire floor white. This was another first for me. I am not a professional mechanic, metalworker or van builder. I am learning as I go, figuring things out, making mistakes and slowly turning this old Sprinter into my own camper van. This video documents my personal build and experience. It was later auctioned by the government and eventually purchased by me from a subsequent owner. The goal is not to create the most expensive or luxurious camper. It is to build a dependable, practical and comfortable place for traveling.
