A major political confrontation is brewing in Jammu and Kashmir as the ruling National Conference (NC) gears up for a massive protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on the first day of Parliament's Monsoon Session to demand the restoration of J&K’s statehood. To build momentum, the NC has scheduled mega rallies in Srinagar on July 11 and Jammu on July 12. However, the BJP has launched a fierce counter-offensive.
