The Mabinogi | The First Branch | Part One | Welsh Mythology
Greetings my friends! After some time away I am back with a big project, we leave Ireland for this story and return to Britain via Wales. A big player in Welsh mythology is the Mabinogi (as well as other stories which together make the Mabinogion) and its four branches which follow different people and are interwoven together like the branches of a tree. As I say in the video, I am splitting the branches up into parts so its easy to take in individually, but I will tell the stories of all the branches. I hope you enjoy the first part of the first branch, a tale about how Pwyll Prince of Dyfed made a powerful connection with a ruler of Annwfyn, the Welsh Otherworld. Safe travels!
