Battle of the Decades - SSD Routine | Perfect Witches

For our routine in Battle of the Decades, we wanted to portray the decade from 1989-1998. We chose the sub-theme "King & Queen of Pop." In the 80s and 90s, the pop icons Michael Jackson and Madonna were known as the King and Queen of Pop. There are rumors that the two had a very close relationship, but later they fell out due to different views on certain matters. However, after Michael's death, Madonna expressed deep sorrow and defended him at every opportunity. Therefore, we thought it would be fitting to represent this duo. Additionally, mashups became very popular in the mid-1990s and were particularly well-received. That's why we decided to go with a mashup of two songs from this decade.
