The all-new 8th generation Hyundai Elantra (Avante for Korea) makes its world premiere at the 2026 Busan International Mobility Show (BIMOS 2026). In this silent walkaround, we cover the full exterior, interior, and close-up detail shots of one of Korea's most iconic compact sedans, now completely redesigned with Hyundai's "Art of Steel" design language. Exterior highlights include the H-Edge Lighting daytime running lights, bold front grille, slim-neck outside mirrors, lift-up flush door handles, and 18-inch wheels with geometric patterned graphics. The body has grown to 4,765mm (187.6 in) in length and 1,855mm (73.0 in) in width, 55mm (2.2 in) longer and 30mm (1.2 in) wider than the outgoing model, bringing it closer to midsize sedan proportions. Inside, the all-new Elantra features Pleos Connect, Hyundai's next-generation infotainment system running Android Automotive OS, with a 14.6-inch or 12.9-inch center display. Gleo AI, Hyundai's own generative AI in-car assistant, is built into the system alongside the Pleos App Market for third-party in-car apps. Two powertrain options will be offered in Korea: a 2.0 gasoline engine producing 149PS, and a 1.6 hybrid system with a combined output of 157PS.
