Noted Freethinker and Author Ravichandran C here addressing the students of of Sree Sankara University, Kalady, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. This seminar was conducted by the Sahitya Department on 10.3.16 at 10 am at the university. The seminar topic was 'Is Vasthushasthra Technical?''. Ravichandran explained the difference between Vasthuvidya, the ancient Indian building technology and Vasthu shasthra, a crass superstition based on building. He stated that Vasthusashtra has nothing to do with 'technique' and it is a mere religious exploitation based on KOPE(frightening+alluring) ploys which are the traditional foundation of religious superstitions viz god, ghost, astrology, palmistry...etc. About speaker:   / malayaleepre....  .
