Conducted by the Yukthivada Padana Kendram at Achutha Menon Hall, Ernakulam, Kerala, India in March, 2014. Ravichandran refers to the criteria of 'reality' for different species. The reality perception of each species varies according to their biological niche and needs. Man is unique, so are all other organisams. He cites the story of Daniel Kish, 'the batman' who makes use of the special sound produced by him 'to see' things in front, exactly the way bats identify objects. The' reality' of human beings as a species is that which allow us to survive as per the equations of biological evolution. It was gradually shaped out through by evolution by natural selection. From an evolutionary perspective, any data beyond or below is of lesser importance to us in the past. Our reality is a species reality, to say the least. But we can go beyond that with the aid of science and technology in the modern times, says Ravichandran.
