Italy was behind us, and the season was in full swing. A stop at the Black Crew team base to load up and head for Austria. Kilometers of road, indescribable landscapes, and at the end of the journey, a house nestled in the mountains that became our base for the entire week. The next day, it was time to check out the course. Leogang welcomed us in the rain. A lot of rain. A reconnaissance on foot, mud everywhere, and a course that, from the first glance, made it clear what it means to race a World Cup. Technical, demanding, and with no room for error. And so began another round of the season.
