The Story of the Golden Arrow and the Night Ferry (Reworked)

Hello all! :D Once one of the most lavish methods of travelling between Britain and Europe, the Golden Arrow and the Night Ferry were a duo of daytime and overnight luxury express trains that provided by far the most affluent means of crossing the English Channel, as complimented by the former's dedicated luxury ferry, that was unbeatable in terms of class and styling. Sadly, the Night Ferry and the Golden Arrow are trains that could have only existed in the era before commercial airliners, as with the arrival of jets and turboprops to run services between England and France, both of these trains were rapidly rendered obsolete by the turn of the 1980s, while even with a direct rail connection between the UK and Europe by way of the Channel Tunnel, attempts to recapture the notion of international sleeping travel from Britain have never made it beyond the concept stage.
