SeaDoo // How to Remove Jet Pump Debris While on the Water
In this video I show you how to identify when you’ve sucked up debris in the jet pump and a few methods to clear the debris while on the water. These tricks can be used for small debris like bottle caps, pieces of wood, other plastics, etc. These tricks should NOT be used for rocks, seaweed, string/ropes, etc. For a majority of floating debris, this will work ~90% of the time and eliminates the need to get towed back to the ramp. There are quite a few other methods to remove debris from your pump, but these three methods are the easiest to perform and have a relatively high success rate.
