Classic Lionel Trains – Postwar Steam: Scout Locomotives Part 2 - 1957-1959
The scout series was a low-cost introductory line of the postwar Lionel sets introduced in 1948 with the first loco, the 1001. They continuously offered scout sets until 1954. After a two year brake, the offered Scout sets again in 1957. This video shows most of the catalogued locos of that period. In part 3 the scout locos from the last period, 1960 – 1969 are introduced.
