Who? (1925) - Lee Sims - piano roll transcription
Turn on subtitles for the lyrics by Otto Harbach and Oscar Hammerstein II! High-resolution and updated sheet music can be downloaded for free at https://musescore.com/user/15864791/s.... I'm happy to present you today with a transcription of US Music piano roll 43492, dated February 1926. I made a few edits so it is playable by a human, but they are sparser than what you might see in some of my other transcriptions. Lee Sims is always a pleasure to transcribe because his style is in equal measure straightforward and ingenious. This arrangement is particularly wonderful to me because of his combination of cheerful "naïveté" with dramatic classically-inspired elements. I transcribed this roll from a video by my friend, YouTube user @Skgwgaietto, who is building a wonderful library of roll videos on his channel. I highly encourage you to check it out. The original video is available at • Who? - US 43492 played by Lee Sims .
