Bester to return to Free State High Court next year
Convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester will be back at the Free State High Court next year. He appeared in court alongside his co-accused on Wednesday where he filed an application challenging what he claims are unfair restrictions at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre. Bester is accused of escaping from the Mangaung correctional centre in May 2022 with the assistance of his alleged accomplices, including his girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana and her father.
