KHAN in critical condition after shooting

Deputy Crime Intelligence Head Feroz Khan is in a critical condition after being shot twice in the abdomen last night in Houghton. His lawyers say they met with him shortly before the incident. Khan is scheduled to appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, where he has been implicated in several cases, including allegations of links to organised crime figures, the illicit tobacco trade and interference in criminal investigations.
