Psoas Release
This is a gentle somatic practice that is meant to release and relax the psoas on the physical, emotional and subtle body levels. It starts with sensing the psoas, its position and its relationship to the diaphragm through the breath, then grounding the lower body with myofascial release, allowing the psoas to move fluidly, and completes in a resting pose focused on the 3 chakras that the psoas holds space in. Once the psoas is relaxed using this video, it can be integrated into movement. The psoas gets dysfunctional and exhausted from too much sitting or if it is recruited as a muscle when others don't work properly.
