This happens a lot in the early grades. Unfortunately, reading ends up becoming just an activity, a worksheet, text interpretation, an obligation… and not a pleasurable experience. And I believe that this is one of the biggest challenges for those who work in basic education today. The teacher tries, creates projects, organizes reading, brings books to the classroom. But even so, many times the class feels uninterested. And I say this because I am also in the classroom. I know this reality. Busy classrooms, little time, few resources, and enormous pressure on us. But throughout my teaching practice, I've noticed something very important: Children enjoy reading when the school creates affective experiences around reading. And that's what I want to talk to you about. Because maybe the problem isn't that the child "doesn't like to read." Maybe they just haven't yet had a truly memorable reading experience. So, in this video, I'm going to show you practical strategies that really help awaken and develop readers in the early grades, even in busy classrooms with few resources. I'll share with you practical, effective tips to transform this shameful reality in our country.
