Next Gen Plays a Queen MARATHON— Woodward vs Erdogmus

Featured is an instructive chess game between Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus and Andy Woodward from Round 5 of the 2026 TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament. Arising out of the Queen's Indian Defense with a3, we reach an original position early on with 9.h4. After 27 moves, the beginning of a marathon queen ending emerges, with 16-year-old Woodward pressing and 14-year-old Erdogmus defending valiantly.
