INTENSE CF-18 Hornet Action at CFB Cold Lake! Takeoffs, Landings & Low Beat-Ups
Today I visited CFB Cold Lake, Alberta, one of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s premier fighter bases, to capture an incredible day of CF-18 Hornet flight operations. The flying activity was nonstop, with multiple Hornets performing continuous training missions including: • High-power takeoffs • Fast recoveries and landings • Low-level airfield beat-ups • Touch-and-go operations • Constant fighter movements throughout the day The intensity of the operations made for some fantastic plane spotting and demonstrates the demanding training undertaken by Canada’s CF-18 pilots and ground crews. If you enjoy military aviation, fighter jets, and realistic airfield action, I hope you’ll enjoy this video.
