Encounters: The Paralytic Man - Pastor Stefan Paz

We kicked off our new series Encounters with a powerful message from Mark 2:1–12, focusing on the story of the paralytic man and his friends. This message highlights how Jesus sees our faith—and how our faith can carry others when they can’t carry themselves. The determination of the friends shows the power of community, persistence, and believing for someone else’s breakthrough. We also see that Jesus sees our doubt. The teachers of the law were close to Jesus physically, yet resistant in their hearts, reminding us that being near Jesus doesn’t always mean trusting Him. This message challenges us to ask: 👉 What posture are we bringing—faith or doubt? 👉 Who is God calling us to carry in faith today?
