This lesson examines one of the most debated topics among believers: Does Deuteronomy 22:5 actually forbid women from wearing pants? Many of us have been taught that this verse is specifically about pants, skirts, and modern clothing styles. But is that what the Scripture says? In this study, we take a closer look at Deuteronomy 22:5, examine the meaning of the words used in the command, and explore Exodus 28 and the priestly breeches that are often used to support this teaching. Together, we'll ask an important question: Is this command about a specific garment, or is it about maintaining the distinction and identity Yah established between male and female?
