Camping at a Secret Military Submarine Base

This video is about the RV campground, Eagle Hammock, at Kingsbay Submarine base, Retired, Active Duty and Goverment Employees only, located in southern Georgia outside the city of St.Marys. We do a tour of the campground including amenities such as bathrooms, laundry, office and lounge. Most military bases have campgrounds and are open to retired military, active duty and government employees. Kingsbay in home to the US Atlantic Fleet Trident Ballistic submarine force. St.Marys is the city right outside the base. St.Marys is considered the gateway to Cumberland Island which is one of Georgias barrier islands. There are many activities you can do here from hiking/biking at Crooked River State Park to exploring St.Marys downtown waterfront and the beaches in Fernandina Florida are just a short drive away. This is a beautiful area to check out.
