Tomato Sauce | Pasta with Tomato Sauce | Quick, Easy and Delicious! |

For a quick, delicious tomato sauce, look no further than here. This sauce can be made in the time it takes to boil the water and cook the pasta. This recipe is enough for 1 lb of pasta. If you are worried it might be too "saucy" for you, remove some of the sauce from the pan before adding pasta. If it is not enough, you can always add it back. If you are not making a full pound of pasta, instead of adding the pasta to the tomato sauce, drain the pasta and add back to the pot. Then add as much sauce as you would like. The left over sauce can be refrigerated for 4 days or frozen for a month. Ingredients: 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes 2 Tablespoons olive oil 2-3 cloves garlic 1/4 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp salt Fresh Basil In a pan over medium flame, heat the olive oil. Add garlic and oregano and cook 1 minute or until fragrant. Pour in crushed tomatoes and add salt. Cook over medium low heat while pasta water is coming to a boil. While pasta is cooking, add chopped fresh basil to sauce and continue to cook until the pasta is finished. Add pasta directly to the sauce and cook 1 minute while stirring. Serve with grated parmigiano reggiano or pecorino romano cheese and more fresh basil, if desired. Music: www.epidemicsound.com
