Cumbrian Silage 2024. Fendt reverse drive, MF, Claas, JCB team chop, cart & clamp.

Catching up this season for the 2nd year in a row with contractor Jason Robley and his magnificent Fendt 828 vario/ Reco reverse drive forager and with a new location for me it was all hands on deck as heavy rain had been forecasted for later in the day. Keeping up with the Fendt on trailer duties were the farms own Claas Arion 460 and MF 5713S pulling Marshall (don’t think I’ve ever seen a green one before) and Fraser trailers while giving a helping hand was a MF 6490 again pulling a Fraser trailer and bellowing out a wonderful roar through its chrome straight pipe! Working together at the clamp were a JCB TM 320s assisted on rolling duties by a Claas Arion 640, both keeping up with the three trailers on the go. It was a bit of an overcast and cold windy day but the sun did make an appearance with even a little bit of blue sky peeking through the clouds every so often making it very interesting light to film under. Thankfully though it didn’t rain and all was safely gathered in by the end of the day! Filmed in Cumbria 3rd June 2024.
