With a brief and rambling announcement, I'm announcing my parental leave...! 🥹 I started my extended service leave + personal annual leave last Monday, and I'll officially be on parental leave starting in April. Oh, I didn't mention it in the video, but I think some of you might be curious about the company's actual reaction. My team leader said that parental leave is a personal right, so of course I should take it when I can. (So far... it's the best work environment I've ever had, right?) As soon as the new year started, he reorganized the work assignments and gave me a bunch of new responsibilities, but I feel like a sinner in front of him...😂 (And I feel like a sinner to the team members who took over my duties, too...)
