The Third Murder (2017) - Japanese Movie Review
Erik, the Asian Movie Enthusiast presents: A review of “The Third Murder”, a Japanese drama/mystery from 2017 that was directed by Hirokazu Koreeda and stars Koji Yakusho, Masaharu Fukuyama, and Suzu Hirose. Shortly after his release from 30 years in prison,twice-convicted killer Takashi Misumi is arrested again on suspicion of committing yet another murder. He immediately confesses to killing his boss at the food factory from where he was recently fired, but his defense attorney is having doubts about what really happened. This is a high quality, deliberately paced mystery that adds complexity and uncertainty in a very methodical way.
