Kore-eda and Crime: The Third Murder | A Video Essay

The Third Murder directed by Hirokazu Koreeda was a film I never expected to see from a director like Koreeda. I think the film is a welcome addition to his amazing filmography and has a poignant message whilst also never once betraying the principles of cinema and storytelling which is "show don't tell". I have yet to come across a film more intuned with the definition of truth and its ambiguity in our everyday lives. A must-watch if you are a Koreeda fan or a Cinephile.
