Cheesden Valley Birtle Rochdale Circular Walks 1.5, 3 & 4 Miles

Three circular routes around the Cheesden Valley from 1.5 to 4 miles, calling at the Valley View Tea Pod at Higher Cuckoo Narr Farm. The routes were hampered by so many fallen trees. The 3 and 4 mile walks end with a steep climb to Higher Cuckoo Narr Farm. With better planning I could have created a more gradual end to these walks. The four mile walk is more suited to regular walkers used to negotiating obstacles and narrow paths. All the walks start with great views over to Manchester and Rochdale.
