Hulle sê die huise is ontwettig verkoop en uitgedeel toe die ANC nog aan bewind was in die Matzikama-munisipaliteit. Die DA het intussen beheer daarvan oorgeneem. Intussen vrees plaasbewoners in die gebied vir hulle veiligheid ná drie moorde.
