KUNJUNGAN PP MUHAMMADIYAH KE KAMPUS TERPADU UMSU / GEDUNG MUKTAMAR MUHAMMADIYAH KE 49 TAHUN 2027

After attending the inauguration of the Deputy Director of Postgraduate Studies and Deputy Dean at UMSU, the Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership, Muhammad Sayuti, M.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., continued the agenda by inspecting the Muktamar (Congress) grounds. The visit was conducted with the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at UMSU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zailani, M.A., to directly observe the development and readiness of the area that will be part of the upcoming Congress. During his visit, Muhammad Sayuti stated that the Muhammadiyah Congress is a strategic opportunity to introduce North Sumatra to the attendees from various regions. He hopes that the construction of the Muhammadiyah Congress facilities will proceed as planned and smoothly. To conclude the visit, the Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership, accompanied by his entourage, planted durian trees on the Congress grounds. Meanwhile, at the same time, and in commemoration of Muhammadiyah's 113th anniversary on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Dr. H. Anwar Abbas, M.M., M.Ag., Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership for MSMEs, Community Empowerment, and the Environment, also visited the Congress site. During the visit, he personally inspected the Green House facilities and the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), which had been inaugurated on the UMSU integrated campus. On this occasion, Anwar Abbas emphasized the importance of ongoing oversight of the Congress building construction. He stated that the construction process must be monitored consistently to ensure progress is measurable, focused, and completed on time according to the established plan. With direct oversight and attention from the Muhammadiyah central leadership, it is hoped that all preparations for the Congress can proceed optimally. Strong synergy between the organization, universities, and other parties is key to ensuring the success of the Congress in North Sumatra and providing broad benefits to the community.
