REKTOR UMSU MENYAMBUT KUNJUNGAN KETUA PIMPINAN WILAYAH MUHAMMADIYAH ( PWM ) JAWA TENGAH

To support the successful implementation of the 49th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Congress in North Sumatra in 2027, the Chairman of the Central Java Regional Leadership Council (PWM), Dr. KH Tafsir, M.Ag., presented Rp1 billion in financial assistance to the Organizing Committee. The assistance was received directly by the Chairman of the Congress Committee, who is also the Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP., during a visit to the congress grounds. This support demonstrates Muhammadiyah's concern and solidarity across regions in accelerating development and solidifying preparations for the national congress. During the visit, Dr. Tafsir expressed his high appreciation for the readiness of the North Sumatra PWM and UMSU in welcoming the 2027 congress. He expressed his impression of the construction of the magnificent building that will serve as the center of congress activities, and considered its implementation to be exceptional, supported by the expansive grounds and integrated concept. On the same occasion, the UMSU Rector also explained the planning background and the latest developments regarding the construction of the Progressive Auditorium, which has now reached 35.5 percent completion. Construction of the Walidah Sports Hall, which will be used for the Aisyiyah Congress, is also progressing well and has now reached 50 percent progress. At the same event, the Chairman of the North Sumatra Regional Leadership Council (PWM), Prof. Dr. Hasyimsyah Nasution, MA, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the support provided by the Central Java PWM. He noted that the Central Java PWM has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment by consistently participating in various humanitarian activities in North Sumatra. Through this series of activities, a spirit of togetherness and collaboration has been fostered across Muhammadiyah regions, while also affirming a shared commitment to supporting the organization's progress and making tangible contributions to the community and society.
