MOMENTOS INCREIBLES de los MMORPG que NO CONOCES

Things happened that no one expected, and they even made some people millionaires in real life. 🔷 Twitter: https://x.com/CafeEldritch ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… SUMMARY MMOs, especially the famous MMORPGs, are among the most profitable video games in history. If you don't believe it, just look at World of Warcraft, which must have been one of the most profitable products for its company and has been active for over 15 years. But, although the lucrative economic aspect deserves analysis, especially for the wealth it generates (although I don't think it translates into increased employee salaries), my favorite part is the social aspect. The ability to easily connect with male and female gamers from all over the world who share your passion for the project. In today's video, I'm talking about precisely that, and I'm bringing up three incredible but real cases that have occurred in MMORPG video games. In some cases, these events have been so impactful that they've even affected people's real lives, making one woman a millionaire just by selling things online that don't actually exist. The first, but certainly not the most important, concerns one of the early patches of the famous MMORPG RuneScape, which predates even Warcraft. It was in such an early stage that it was still free for everyone, but it was full of hilarious bugs. The important one today was that players could equip themselves with a certain type of gear multiple times, taking advantage of a ridiculously funny exploit and causing massive damage that destroyed the entire meta of the game. Even the most novice players could easily beat the pros because of this bug. If there had been famous streamers back then, the internet would have been flooded with memes, I assure you. There's also the EverQuest story, an achievement so epic that it caused the game's creators to quit. In one of the game's most difficult and epic raids, there was one of the most powerful and formidable bosses in the history of MMORPGs and video games in general. Dozens of pro players teamed up to defeat it one day, and although it took hours and was incredibly difficult, they managed to weaken this incredible secret boss. Just as they were about to achieve an epic victory, the game developers pulled the plug, cheating to prevent this formidable enemy from being defeated. The players' anger was legendary, and some time later, the game's creators allowed the epic confrontation to happen again, granting the gamers the victory. The rewards were unique and secret, an event that has never been repeated to this day. And last but not least, there's the incredible case of the woman who rented out her property in Second Life. It seems that renting is very lucrative and generates a lot of money both in games and in real life, but this woman didn't just get rich in the video game. She was the first person to become a millionaire by working with and hiring artists and programmers in the digital field, whom she then exchanged for digital currency. Such was her fame and power that both private and public companies hired her, but they were never able to copy her business model. However, she did suffer an incredible troll attack during an interview. It became such a huge meme that it even resurfaced with a Russian presidential candidate years later. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… MUSIC USED World of Warcraft - Taverns of Azeroth -03 - Pig and Whistle - Marielle BM #mmorpg #mmo #games #videogames #millionaires #rich #bugs #glitch
