It happens to all of us that when we watch scary movies, we get even more terrified when they say it's inspired by a true story, but this one isn't. This is a completely true story, and I've even included scientific and medical sources so you can see I'm not making it up. It's such an incredible and horrifying story that I don't think any multi-million dollar Hollywood company would dare to make it into a horror movie. This is about Tarrare, one of the most incredible and strange people who ever existed. Born in 18th-century France, Tarrare was able to eat incredible amounts of food as a young man—a quarter of a liter of water. Contrary to what you might think, he ate, but he was thin… too thin. Some describe him as almost a kind of monster with saggy skin and money-colored lips and very yellow teeth. His parents, unable to take on the responsibility of caring for such a man, abandoned him, but instead of giving up, Tarrare used his special ability to create shows. He didn't get rich, but he impressed many people with his special ability, although he had to pay a high price and urgently visit the doctor after suffering from stomach problems that were as strange as they were funny. Later, he joined the army. He had a very interesting life indeed. Although he continued to fight for food, he ended up participating for a while as a spy, but it didn't last long because he was quickly caught in one of the strangest and most disgusting interrogation games ever seen. Unfortunately, his adventure didn't end well. Fed up with his illness, he tried to find a cure, but nothing worked, and his cravings forced him to do horrible things that could have been the stuff of pure horror.
