When the first emergency responders arrived, a newly built warehouse with an administrative wing was ablaze. The fire brigade, which was on site with a large contingent, brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to other buildings. Emergency services treated four people for suspected smoke poisoning. They were taken to nearby hospitals. The location of these four people when the fire broke out is still unclear. The company itself was not operating at the time, but according to witnesses, people from a company event were on the premises. The fire affected tires, film, vehicles, and the building itself. The damage caused cannot yet be precisely quantified, but is estimated at several million euros. A total of 275 firefighters, 40 emergency medical personnel, five emergency chaplains, and two police patrols were deployed to the scene.
