Welcome to Rota Natureza! In today's video, we'll explore the incredible route to Laguna Humantay, one of the most famous landscapes in the Cusco region of Peru. To reach our destination, we depart from the center of Cusco very early, at 4:00 AM, traveling 120 km to reach the Soraypampa region, the starting point of our trail. On the way to the lagoon, the van makes a short stop for breakfast, already included in the tour price of 65 soles per person, purchased directly from the agency. After breakfast, we continue for another hour by road until we reach the start of the trail. From there, the route will be 3.5 kilometers, with the final 2 km being a steep climb, so be prepared! And we finished our itinerary with the guide telling us a little more about the history of the mountain and the entire Humantay Lagoon region, returning immediately afterwards to the van and the city of Cusco.
