🌱🥒🍌 YOUTUBE DESCRIPTION (SEO 2026 | GARDENING, HARVESTING, CUCUMBERS, SLAUGHTER, PAKCOY, BIRD'S CHILI) 🍌🥒🌱 Peace be upon you, peace be upon you 🌿 Hi everyone, how are you today? May we all be blessed with good health, blessings, lawful sustenance, and ease in all our daily activities. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds. In this video, my mother resumes her gardening activities in her home garden. After clearing the raised bed filled with weeds and old, overgrown slang plants, it's time to refill the area with new, more productive plants. My mother chose to plant healthy cucumber seedlings in the greenhouse. These seedlings have 4–5 true leaves and are growing very well. Carefully, she transferred the seedlings from the polybags to the previously prepared raised beds. Each planting hole was made to the exact size of the seedling medium to avoid damaging the roots and allow the plants to adapt well after transplanting. After all the cucumber seedlings were planted, she installed a trellis and began gently tying the stems together. This trellis will help the plants grow upward, making them neater, healthier, and easier to care for. Furthermore, she also pruned old leaves and unnecessary tendrils to focus the plants' energy on their primary growth. Next, she utilized kitchen waste, such as onion and garlic skins, that she had collected. She placed the skins around the base of the plants as a natural mulch. Besides helping maintain soil moisture, the aroma of onion skins is also believed to help repel certain types of pests. Over time, the onion skins will decompose into organic matter that enriches the soil and supports plant growth naturally. The gardening continued with the transplanting of the loofah seedlings to another raised bed previously used for growing pickled cucumbers. Since the old trellis was still available and in good condition, this location was ideal for growing loofah, a climbing plant. Before planting, the mother added rice husks and chicken manure to improve soil fertility. After loosening the soil, the loofah seedlings were transplanted one by one to their new location. Interestingly, some old pickled cucumbers were intentionally left unharvested. They were allowed to ripen fully so that their seeds could be used as seed for the next planting season. This simple method provides a means of family food independence while saving on seed costs. In addition to planting and transplanting seedlings, this video also includes harvesting a wide variety of garden produce. 🍌 Harvesting ripe, yellowing bananas. 🌿 Harvesting taro tubers by digging around the base of the plant until many tubers are found ready to be collected. 🍈 Harvesting ripe, orange-yellow papayas that look fresh and ready to eat. 🌶️ Harvesting green cayenne peppers that produce regularly every few days. 🌶️ Harvesting crushed, orange-red cayenne peppers that are very beautiful and tempting. 🥬 Harvesting fresh bok choy straight from the wooden raised bed. As the old stems are removed, a crisp "crack..." sound signals the freshness of the freshly harvested vegetables. While harvesting the bok choy, my mother also discovered a green vegetable caterpillar eating the leaves. Its body color, which resembles the color of the leaves, makes it very difficult to spot, a common sight in everyday organic gardening.
