Water Lines & Under-Slab Plumbing | DIY OFF-GRID Straw Bale House

The slab is almost ready. A few years ago I was living full time in a van I built myself, exploring the country with my love, Akela. Now I'm on 40 acres of raw land in Colorado, living off-grid in a tiny studio I also built myself, and working toward building our 1,200 square foot straw bale home. No crew, no contractors. Just me figuring it out one day at a time. After months of wrapping up lingering property projects and slowly turning my full attention to the build, the under slab plumbing is done. Water lines, PVC, all of it. One final test stands between me and inspection, and I can feel the momentum building! This week also had some of the most beautiful sunsets, the weather is finally turning, and there is nowhere else I'd rather be than on this land. Thanks so much for being here :)
