Solo House Build FIRST Inspection - This changed EVERYTHING

After months of solo work on my straw bale house foundation — digging footers, framing, running all the under slab plumbing, the day for my first plumbing inspection finally came! This felt like the moment where either everything moves forward or sends me back a bit. This week had some of my favorite people out on the land with me, helping with the house and just existing in this place that keeps feeling more and more like home. As for my recent injury, I finally had my MRI appointment scheduled... just another reminder that this life is never just one thing at a time. I'm building a 1,200 square foot straw bale home, myself, on 40 acres of high desert in Colorado. No crew, no contractors.
