Biking Florida's Historic Tallahassee-St. Marks Trail

I had a blast exploring the coastal village of St. Marks and the Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail (what a mouthful!). My campground in Newport was peaceful and beautiful... but would my tent keep me dry? I left the Carolinas to escape the cold, but it followed me! "Go to Florida to enjoy some warm sunshine," they said. Well, I went to Florida only to find unseasonably cold temps and, worse, rain. And did I mention that I made this a "Low-Spend Bike Trip"? Yeah, I challenged myself to boycott restaurants and spend as little money as possible. It would not be easy. This trip got crazy, y'all! Travel with me to ride 32 miles out-and-back of the straight-shot Tallahassee-St. Marks trail, with plenty of quirky sights and Florida live oaks to appreciate.
