1911 Cycling Issues - Barrel to Feed Ramp Issue

In today's video we take a look at a 1911 that came into our shop with cycling issues. We will discuss what we found while attempting to test fire, and walk through what is causing the issue. In this case we see the 1911 is not adhering to one of the rules of barrel fit needed for proper, and reliable function. This rule we like to call the 1.5 to 1 (One and a Half to One) rule, which pertains to the relationship between the barrel and the frame / feed ramp.
