1911 Failure to Feed - It's NOT (always) the cheap Magazine! 1911 Extractor Diagnosis.
I see this a lot in a popular website I visit that is supposedly where 1911 folks come to talk about the platform. As soon as someone says "my new budget/mid-range 1911 is having a feeding issue" the answer is always 'throw away those mags and buy Wilson Combat magazines!'. I wanted to address the idea that ONLY Magazines can fix these issues and that you should probably check a couple other things as well. 1911s used to be hand fit and the extractor is one of those things that doesn't scale well at mass production especially in budget minded 1911s. #1911 #Tisas #Colt #Kimber #SpringfieldArmory
