Jesús Zanabria Valverde is the lucky son of the current Commander General of the Peruvian National Police, Víctor Zanabria, as he was hired by the Ministry of the Interior just one month after his father was appointed as the top police force chief by President Dina Boluarte on January 4. Despite having no prior experience in the state, Jesús Zanabria was invited by the Police Disciplinary Tribunal to work as a legal assistant. Speaking to Panorama, the 35-year-old declined to reveal the name of the person who recommended him for the position, although he assured them it was not his father. Zanabria Valverde holds a law degree and in February of this year obtained his first service order with a salary of S/3,000, a contract that was extended through March. His work consisted of receiving, recording, and distributing administrative documentation for the Police Disciplinary Tribunal. NOW WORKS AT MIDAGRI Jesús Zanabria no longer works at the Ministry of the Interior. However, Panorama has confirmed that the son of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Police is now working at the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, headed by Minister Ángel Manero Campos. So far, there has been no announcement regarding his appointment.
