The Door Was OPEN! I Risked Going In and REGRETTED It

An abandoned wooden house in the middle of nowhere — the door was wide open, and I couldn't resist going inside. What I found was both fascinating and unsettling: a vintage tube TV that actually turned on, fur coats and sheepskin jackets hanging in a massive wardrobe, and a razor blade mysteriously wedged into the window frame. The house greeted me with a cast-iron pot for a wood-burning stove and an unusual barrel-shaped beer mug, all sitting right by the entrance. Upstairs, the attic was stuffed with old bags — clearly untouched for years. Back on the main floor, a huge brick stove dominated the room, and behind a door blocked by piles of junk I found vintage cutlery, a lone spoon that might be nickel silver, and a beautiful old lamp shade. The deeper I went, the more it felt like stepping into a time capsule. Men's clothing hung on the walls alongside thick cobwebs, and a mysterious black case turned out to hold barbecue skewers. The biggest room stopped me in my tracks — walls crumbling, ceiling caving in, coffee-like stains on the floor. And yet someone's belongings were still right where they left them. An Orthodox icon of the King of Glory sat quietly in the corner, a shot glass waited on the table. But the real surprise? A vintage tube TV — I flipped the switch and it actually powered on! Then I opened the wardrobe: sheepskin coats, fur coats — expensive stuff, just rotting away in the damp. Outside, a ruined well with green water, and by the shed — a disassembled TV set.
