WEDNESDAY 15TH JULY 2026 - CRIME WATCH LIVE Highlights: La Romaine shooting leaves mother questioning deadly gun culture • A La Romaine mother is mourning the loss of her son, who she believes was caught in the crossfire of a deadly shooting while doing something he loved, watching football. • Joycelyn Henry-Davis, 71, said her son Nyron Kyle Davis, 32, was not the intended target when gunmen opened fire outside a bar on Saturday night (July 11th). • Police said Davis of Maude Street, La Romaine was sitting near the bar at the corner of church street and Southern Main Road around 10 p.m. when two armed men approached and fired several shots. He was struck in the chest and later died at San Fernando General Hospital. Gunmen kill Diego Martin man, wound two others in drive-by shooting • Police have launched a homicide investigation after a 25-year-old man was shot and killed while two others were injured in a drive-by shooting in Diego Martin on Tuesday 14th July, 2026. • The deceased is 25-year-old Kadeem Mason of Cicada Drive, Diego Martin. • The injured men have been identified as Anthony Bonaparte, 20, of 69 Cicada Drive, Diego Martin, and Jahiem Fredericks, 23, of D'Abadie. Murder probe faces new questions as police seek legal advice on second autopsy in SEA student's death • Homicide detectives are seeking legal advice on whether a second post-mortem examination should be carried out at the Forensic Science Centre as investigators continue probing the death of 14-year-old SEA student Andrea Tyanna Francis. • Sources told I.A.N. News that investigators have raised concerns following the initial post-mortem examination after the District Medical Officer (DMO), who examined the child's body, reportedly did not observe visible marks of violence. Police investigate fatal Marabella crash that claimed Claxton Bay woman's life • A 65-year-old Claxton Bay woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle that reportedly lost control while attempting to avoid another motorist in Marabella. • The deceased has been identified as Jameella Basrally of Choon Street, Soledad West, Claxton Bay. • According to police reports, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on July 14, 2026, along the Southern Main Road near the vicinity of JTA Supermarket and Market Street.
