San Francisco-Kathmandu-San Francisco Trip in FEb 2026

San Francisco – Kathmandu – San Francisco Trip (February 2026) I flew to Kathmandu on February 7 with Phinjock, Ang Doka, our two children, and Ai Anchi, with a 16-hour layover in Doha. During our stop, we enjoyed a 3-hour Discover Qatar city tour. We landed in Kathmandu late in the afternoon. On 9th February. Alongside the joyous occasion of our beloved son Phinjock Sonam’s wedding ceremony on February 21, we had the honor of hosting a beautiful reception on February 22 at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu. We also attended several other gatherings and special occasions, many of which I recorded on video. In addition, we truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whose help and support in preparing for the wedding made everything even more special. My return flight with Qatar Airways on March 1 was canceled, so I eventually flew back on March 4 with China Southern via Guangzhou and Wuhan to San Francisco.
