Bike Shop Daze

Sooo many side projects as I struggle to slowly bring this Bridgestone CB-1 back from the dead. Interesting that it’s in the same “Seminole Red” as the ’89 MB-5 I worked on in Hawaii. This vid chronicles life in our busy, all-volunteer shop two Thursdays, back-to-back. You’ll also see us achieve fame & fortune (OK, a modicum of fame and no fortune, but let’s not split hairs)--we’re FAMOUS now! Also in the work-stand: Marin Donkey Jr., & Trek 730. A Trek Livestrong also makes a brief appearance, and I learn how to check for a bent frame without using a frame alignment gauge. Good Daze! SO = Southern Oregon. I love bikes! I ride (MTB, road, city, & a bit of gravel), maintain my shed, buy, flip, volunteer, work, donate my time, and advocate for bikes in my small Southern Oregon town. If more people rode bikes, the world would be a better place. I do stuff with bikes pretty much every day, and this channel is an attempt to share it.
