This house is the culmination of his tenacity; the interior design team even went so far as to scout locations in Japan to realize his abstract tastes. Han Yong scoured the country in search of materials imbued with time, such as basalt, natural stone, and reclaimed wood, to bring nature indoors. In particular, the reclaimed wood pillars of the living room platform were fitted together by a master craftsman using double mortise and tenon joints to add a touch of classical beauty. The highlight of this house is undoubtedly the staircase! Since the house is filled with natural materials, he wanted the staircase to be designed to resemble a landscape. After much research, he managed to persuade a master craftsman of solid wood resin slabs to craft the stairs, which were designed to evoke the scene of a flowing stream. Furthermore, his thoughtful attention to detail was evident in every corner of the house, from the kitchen island and lighting to the bedroom and annex exclusively for his wife. It turns out that a literary boy was hidden deep within the IT expert who wrestles with numbers. Mr. Han Yong stated that the time spent renovating the house was a time of liberation, allowing him to unleash his artistic sensibility.
