First, take the "Tram 1," which circles Vienna's major landmarks, and take in the grandeur and splendor of the city through every alley. Passing through Kärntner Strasse, we arrive at St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom). Standing in front of the cathedral, where Mozart's wedding and funeral took place, we hum along to Mozart's signature Serenade No. 13 and A Little Night Music. Vienna, known as the "City of Music," is also home to the splendid legacy of the Habsburg dynasty, which had a long-lasting influence on European history. At Schönbrunn Palace, a prime example, we explore the magnificent rooms, which remain almost intact in their original form. Next, we head to the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), considered one of the world's three greatest opera houses, along with Paris and Milan. Park Kalin sits in the elaborately constructed auditorium, enjoying the view. Park also brings up childhood memories of Gustav Mahler, who served as conductor at the Vienna State Opera for many years. Mahler, renowned as a conductor in Vienna, was more interested in composing, so he acquired a house on the shores of Lake Attersee. He is said to have dedicated the rest of his life to composition, and this is where we can briefly experience Mahler's spirit, etched into the small, single-room room. Following the Danube River in Austria, we arrive at the beautiful Wachau region. The terraced vineyards, blessed with abundant sunlight, make it a region renowned for producing some of the finest wines in Europe. What did the Wachau wine taste like after the arduous climb up the steep slopes? Austria, where the Alps cover two-thirds of its landmass, is home to the Schafberg Mountains, a unique destination for experiencing the Alps. Apparently, a steam-powered mountain train operates here! The roar of the train, belching steam, adds a romantic touch to the journey. After a winding climb, we reach the summit of Schafberg. The breathtaking view of the Alps unfolding before us brings the lyrics from the film "The Sound of Music" to mind. Leaving the picturesque Alps, we arrive at the small village of St. Wolfgang. Every summer night, the town is filled with a festive atmosphere.
